I was at an auction a while back and picked up an IH trailer type hay mower, It is pretty rough, been sitting outside for many years, but I think I can turn it back into a mower again. Question is, where is the model number located? The mower is PTO driven, belt drive, with a pitman stick. I need to know what model this is so I can start hunting for parts.

My guess would be a model 32. This pull type was built from 1956 and was the first pull type built for tractors. The wheels are slightly off-set and the rest of it resemble the model 31. If you can get some part numbers off of it,I'll look them up in the parts book I have.

If it has rubber tires its probably a 32, I believe earlier models all had steel wheels.

Rustyfarmall---the 451473R1 and the 451491R1 was used on both the 32 pulltype and the HM24 mowers.
I couldn't find the 112570 number in this parts book,thats dated 5-16-55
