Splitting a BN for clutch

I am about ready to split my BN in half for a new clutch....how do you keep te front of the tractor from falling over after the split? I've only don WFE's before. Thanks in advance

We were able to make a pretty simple stand by using three pieces of angle iron. Lay one on the floor and weld the other two standing up wide enough to bolt on to the cultivator mounts on the bell housing. If you are skilled enough I've even seen some with casters on it so you can move the whole assembly around.

Have done this several times over past 40 yrs with BN;S and C;s Get on level ground where there is a small tree or a post. Run front wheels straddle of post and hook chain falls to the top holes where cultivators mount and pull up snug.

There are splitting stands made to do that for you, but I don't have them either.
When I did my B, I took the front wheels off, then picked the engine off with a lift and set it down on the floor.
