I have a 1972 cub that I would really like to sell sometime soon. Not a clue how much it would be worth though so need some input from anyone that might know and could give me an answer.
Briefly, this tractor runs great. It has a mott hammer knife mower attached (I mowed a half acre last week with it) and an extra one I used for parts. It has two extra rear wheels with wheel weights and turf tires, and a number of extra parts (head lights, voltage regulator, etc)
I haven't taken any pictures of it yet and have posted no adds. Just looking for some input from someone in the know!!..(I'm not a collector so I don't have a clue what it's worth)....Have been checking adds and wondered if $1500 is about right?
Help please!!
ED

Ed,

I just bought a 57 Cub in good working order with a belly mower for $750 here in Florida. It's all original and is in need of some paint and body work, but I believe that this was a good deal. I don't see too many of them go for less than $1000. Of course it will depend on the part of the country you are from as well. Here in Florida, I'm in the heart of Ford country and Farmall's, if you can find one, come at a premium price.

Where is it? It's hard to guess value before seeing the pictures.

I'm in the central part of lower Michigan.
Probably will take some pics later this week so I can shop it around. It's not restored but not beat up either. Just a good old work horse I've had for a few years and don't have room for it anymore.
