I had to take the rocker arm assembly off the head on my Farmall 100 due to a hard to get at head bolt. Will the rocker go back on like it is or will I have to do something with the valve springs? Thanks for the help you all have given me before. Buster

There is a notch in the rocker shaft that accomdates the stud bolts that hold the assembly in place. Make sure that is lined up when you put it back. Others are correct on adjustments, etc. I had a Farmall C that the notch in the rocker shaft was not lined up when someone put the rocker assembly on. They forced it on anyway. I had a real hard time getting that off!! So it the assembly does not go freely down on the stud bolts, something is not right.

If you have removed the head, you will need to adjust the valve lash, even if you hadn't touched the rocker arm.

Buster,
When you to put your rocker assembly back on, just line everything up making sure the little ball end fits down in the push rod and that your push rod is seated in the lifter as you tighten the rocker down.....the other end that fits on the valve end will push the valves down (assuming they are in an open position etc.)
You probably will need to check the valve lash to make sure it's still at the right setting when hot.
