My IH plough is model A-191 (I think) same design as the cub one but bigger). I want to use it with my A or AV. What are the correct lifting arms (remember no hydrualics) for this to work. Is it the same as the cub plough where i reverse the drawbar. The only other ploughs i have seen on an A are mounted to the front? I presume i need two lifting arms one for pitch contol onto the drawbar and one at the rear to get it up and down out of the turf. Thanks

I think you have it right. Reverse the drawbar and put it on the front of the two mounting locations on the final drives and bolt the plow to it. Then you will need rear lifting arms and a way to adjust the height of the drawbar to control the tilt of the plow. You can use the plow without the bar to adjust the front of the drawbar, but you will need to adjust the drawbar to the lowest position with the bolt on the drawbar bracket.

Gene, Do you have any info on a plow for a "C" and the required parts for hook up?
I'm going to look at a plow that is desribed as the same you all are talking about here and I'm trying to find out enough information to know if it's all there.
I found a picture on the internet of a C 119 plow for a Farmall C that looks like the one you are talking about, but the picture isn't real good, so it doesn't help me too much.
