Been giving serious consideration to building one tractor out of two.One running, one not. These are Regulars, wide tread and narrow.Want to end up with a narrow tread for all the usuall reasons. In the process of picking the best of the parts, there will most of a tractor left over with some not so good parts.So--put it all back in one piece for storage,or sell it off.Must be some guys sell them piece by piece on E-bay.I would never sell the remains to the scrap man.Storage at present time is not a problem.Hmm-what do you fellows do?

Keep all those leftover parts, might be just what you need for the next project, and there will be another project.

Buy the parts you need to fix the second one enough to get it running, then sell it.

Yeah, you already have one that runs. Anything that one might need should be relatively inexpensive. Fix up the other and sell it.
good luck

Will need a piston, set of rings, set of valve guides,3 or 4 valves, manifold, carb, magneto, fuel tank, lines, rear wheels&tires, brake linings, radiator, air cleaner. This is just the mojor parts.See what I mean about having to find another parts tractor to revive this parts tractor!I might just put it back together in one piece after the main project is done and stash it for future reference. As long as my storage holds out that is.

I kinda figured it was indeed a "time and money" thing. Happens a lot ;-) I hope you either keep it or find it a good home. just don't send it to the crusher...

Its kind of a time and money thing.Besides I'd about have to find another parts tractor to fix up the donor tractor. But I see what you are getting at.
