My Father just bought a speader in very good shape, I believe it to be a McCormick (looks like Guy Fays pic on page 14 of Farm Tractors of the 50's) Is there a tag some where I can Identify it? Most of the markings are gone but hint a red still shows. Any idea where to get some info or model # of these. Would not take much to bring back to orginal condition. Thanks for any help. keith

I understand you might have parts for a model 200 McCormick spreader. I need a front idler sprocket. It is 5 tooth 3/4" hole size with a grease fitting. If you can help I would like to know the price and availability. Thanks Don Doane

Kieth: McCormick spreaders from the 50s. Most common was the 200 a 65 bushel spreader built from 1941 to 1955. There was also an 200F, F standing for fluid and a 200H, H standing for Horse and had 4 wheels. There was also a smaller model 100, 30-35 bushel. A larger pto driven spreader that I have forgotten the model number of, probably 150 bushel, it was about 5 to 6 feet wide inside the box.
