I see a lot of people on here wanting to change there tractors over to 3 point but my problem is the other way around. In 1957 my dad got a IH 350 with 7 pieces of equiment that he wore out over the years, our first 3 point was a new 444 in 1969 I think and we both hated the hitch and then a new 695 but now at 77 years old and a bad arm he canot fight the 3 point anymore so the last few years he rides the 350 5 days a week and I have to change everything he buys over to 2 point I have run out of spears to weld on does anyone know were I can get some,I cut up a set of those adaptors everyone uses to hook up to 3 point (last years christmas present)last weekend for his new bushog he would not use them anyway I cannot type what he said about them I need to find somewere to buy the spears only, those adaptors cost me almost 200 dollars.

Why not use a 3point quick hitch setup

I have a 340 with a 2 point hitch. I just made a set. You can make them real cheap. all I did was trace out one on my blank stock and cut it out with a torch. your local welding shop should be able to make something for you if you don't have the tools... just a thought

Norman: I have found one of the best sources of the spears are old mowers, although many of those were the small spear. You can weld a strap along the bottom of these, and they work well. I had a machine shop turn me out 3 of these and they cost me about $100. each. I use mine on the 130 single point hitch. I like the ones the machine shop turned out better than anything IH or the aftermarket ever sold.
