Found a brass exhaust lift "lift all" cylinder today for the A's and other smaller IH tractors. Are these things worth anything? I could pick it up for next to nothing a rebuild it to sell, but I personally don't have any use for it. It's currently mounted on a junked A. Anyone know what they might go for in decent shape?

Zak, Is the gas diverter valve, or pressure valve as it was sometimes called, still attached to the exhaust manifold. I need one to complete my Lift-all setup and would be interested in it. Thanks, Sid.

By all means pick it up. I don't know what it's dollar value is, but there aren't many brass ones around.

Does it have any dents? I would like it but all i need is the brass piece. Take the four bolts apsart and top and bottom will come off. e-mail price for what you would want. The early ones were BRASS.

No dents that I could see BUT there is some mild pitting up and down the backside for about 1/4 of the cylinder. Top to bottom, 1/4 of the way around. It didn't look too bad to me and the top and bottom pieces looked like they could be cleaned up easily. It is brass with a dark patina but it could polish to a bright shine with a little 'Brasso' and elbow grease! What are these things worth?
