Can anyone tell me the weight of a 41 M. No wheel weights, just a stock M. I want to know if I can get it on my trailer. I have a dual axel 7500 lb rated trailer. I'm guessing the trailer itself is about 1000lbs. Which leaves me about 6500lbs for the tractor.

BETTER TO USE A BIGGER TRAILER WITH A GREATER MARGIN OF SAFETY.A 12000 DECKOVER TRAILER COST ABOUT 180.00 TO RENT FOR TWO DAYS, HOW MUCH DOES A 41 M COST. WITH A PROPER TRAILER YOU JUST LOAD ,CHAIN DOWN AND GO. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TURN THE WHEELS AROUND.DID A CARHAULER ONCE NEVER AGAIN HAD TO TURN THE WHEELS AROUND,GUY SAID NO LIQUID GUESS AGAIN EXPECT ANYTHING. WHICH EVER WAY YOU GO DON'T DO 70 MPH 6500 LBS DON'T STOP SO QUICK . GOOD LUCK

4975 is what my 52 M with disk brakes, no belly pump, no fenders, no weights, no fluid in tires, no belt pulley unit, 4 inches of gas in the tank & 13.6X38 rear 6 ply tires. Figure 5000 to 5500.

Your trailer probably weighs closer to 2,000#, which leaves you 5,500# for the tractor. If the M does not have a PTO, belt pulley, or a belly pump, you will probably be O.K. If it has all of those items, as most do, then you are going to be overloading the trailer. Just be carefull.

That's what I though I had heard. Somewhere around 6000lbs. Even 6770lbs would probably be ok on my trailer, just slightly over. Your right about the tires. I'll probably have to turn them in on this one also. I think I have 80 inches across my trailer but the tractor I think is more. I have about 400 miles to go. Thanks for the info Dave.

If your trailer indeed weighs only 1000 lbs, which I seriously doubt, you are asking for serious trouble, maybe death to you or someone else trying to haul (I emphasize TRYING, because you darn sure aren't going to go 400 miles) a 5000 lb tractor on a 1000 lb trailer. if your trailer has anything less than two 3500 lb axles, you better not try. Even with two 3500 lb axles and a 2000 lb trailer, you are maxed out.

That's what I have, Two 3500lb axels. That's why I'm asking about the weight. You think my trailer is 2000lbs?

Richard,my old trailer had 2 3500 axles, tried t oload my M on it and guess what, the tires blew out.Put on a new set of tires and traded the trailer for a heavier one.I would suggest a heavier trailer.
