Well I was putting on the decals on my Super MTA after a recent paint job and I got one on crooked, with a nice wrinkle in. Does anyone out there know a good way to remove a decal with out messing up the paint job? Any suggestions sure would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Ernie Bob

When applying Mylar decals use Windex (in the spray bottle not aerosol). Use a tack cloth to make sure there is no dust in the area where the decal will be applied, spray it liberally with the Windex. You can slide it around at will to get it exactly where you want it (two small pencil marks help) then carefully squeegee the Windex out. A piece of hard rubber works great.

The hair dryer will work. When you put another one on, spray a fine mist on the area, it will allow you to move the decal around.

I have used the hair dryer method to remove bumper stickers, I would think it would be worth a try on your decals.

Hmmmmm mmmm..... ..interesting question.
I've never done decals for tractors, but
I wonder if heat from a hair dryer would loosen the glue enough to let you remove it or fix it?

Just a thought !
