Jimmy, Isn't our Christian Family a wonderful gift from God! I have been away for a couple of days, but I never stopped praying for you. I am blessed by all the others holding you up. Praise God she knew our Lord Jesus Christ!
And to others reading these responses, you too can have the assurance of salvation that Alice and Jimmy have, by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior!

My mom went home to be with the Lord in June. I miss her every day. Jimmy, your wife is in a wonderful place and would not want to come back. You'll see her again. My favorite scripture is in Revelation 21:4. When you get a chance please read it. Its a promise from God.

May your prayers and thoughts guide you thru this loss on your own terms. As you will never get over it, you will surely in time learn to live with your loss. Our grieving is a selfish thing when we loose those we love. Rejoice in the good times together and you will asuredly learn to laugh also about even those bad ones! I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I wish there was something I could do. Thank God you both are christian. I can't for the life of me fathom how a person would get through such a thing without the knowledge that you would be reunited again someday. I am very sorry for your loss. It is a terrible shock to have someone die this way, but if it is any comfort, it is much better for them than to linger with long slow illness. Their pain is less, but the pain of those left behind is more. May you find comfort in the care and concerns of your family and friends.

We are very sorry for your loss. We will continue praying for you and your family as you move on from here. My father went home (also a believer) almost a year ago. It's a real bitter-sweet feeling. A sense of awe and joy for what they have just walked into, but we still miss them here too. He and my mom were married 45 yrs.
