Does anyone know of an aftermarket control valve for the two point fast hitch on a Super C. I'm having lots of trouble finding a replacement for my orginal one. Please give me some ideas if you can.

I believe what you are looking for is the factory valve that takes place of the tubes and block that is on most Cs. You will have a hard time finding one. Post a want ad on this site and hope for the best. Try some of the big tractor junkyards people here talk about.

But otherwise, none are being remanufactured as of yet. I have though very seriously about pursuing it myself. I believe there is a decent market for them. I approached the fellow at OEM and he laughed me out of his tent at RPRU two years ago. He stated they wouldn't even think about casting any parts. I see they are making stamped sheetmetal parts (hoods, grills, fenders) and thinking that more tooling goes into them then would the castings, but what do I know. I am just a manufacturing engineer.

Brian: I will place an order for several when you get in production. I think just about every one with a SA, SC, 100, 200, 130 and 140 needs one. Make them so 2-3 can go in a bank.

I agree 100%. Everyone who has one of these tractors would love to make it more versatile by adding auxiliary hydraulics. I don't understand why folks in the business of repo parts are so scared of it.

Brian: Just a couple of uses I have for my SA, 130 and 140. I would change my single point fast hitches to a remote cylinder. I then would like to have a remote valve for implements. I have one of these now from a 200. I plan to use it for lifting my snow blade. I now lift the snow blade with rockshaft under fuel tank. The lifting is done by pulling back on lever. In other words to small cylinder in touch control is retracting for lift. I have had this blade on both SA and 130, and within a month it caused both to leak.

The other type set up just creates too much plumbing on a tractor you just don't have room for plumbing. You are so correct, I cant understand this reluctance by the repro parts people. If you look at C, SC, SA, 100, 200, 130 and 140 and the numbers originally produced, there is probably well in excess of a 1/4 million of these tractors still in operation. Beats me how some of these guys make business decissions.

Mickey: One of the manufacturers of aftermarket 3 point kits for SA, SC, 100, 200, etc sells such a valve. I'm not sure of the company name but someone on here will know.

I think Saginaw and OEM both carry what you're looking for. It's a small block that goes between the manifold and the touch control reservoir that re-routes the high pressure side out so you can take it to an aftermarket valve then back in.
