no live PTO on 350 diesel

I was wondering if it was a rarity to not have live PTO on a 350 diesel. The tractor does have live hydrualics and a TA but no live PTO, power steering or fast hitch. It does have a PTO similiar to an H or an M. Are these odd configurations desirable among collectors or is having all the options more desirable?
Thanks for the help
Corey

i have a 450 farmall that originally came from louisianna and it has a non continuous pto like your 350. this was somewhat common on southern tractors. the plantations bought them as cheap as possible for hired help to drive.

I just sold a 350 gas without TA or power steering 2 weeks ago and I thought it was unusal.

Corey: No question that is a rare one especially on a diesel. Is the tractor a Farmall or a Utility? I don't find the absence of power steering or fast hitch too odd. Must be that someone wanted a purely draft animal. What kind of farming was carried on in the immediate area? You would think any use for mainly drawbar use would have gone for the larger 450 or even 650. I'm thinking along the lines of grain country.

Hugh,
You are right the tractor is rowcrop in grain country. I thought the lack of live PTO was kind of rare too. Of course a 350 diesel is not that common either so that is why I think I will have to pick this one up. Its a rough tractor but it is complete and running, unfortunately I believe it has a wrist pin knock in the one cylinder, but one has to gamble once in awhile.
Thanks to all that have replied. If anyone is curious about it let me know I should have it by the end of the weekend.
