"Scooby" is my son and he and his wife are to give us a new grandchild next summer! Now that the "Rat" is caught we can hope the world will be a better place for our new tractor driver and all of us. A proud father and grandfather, every morning I wake up is a beautiful day! Sunday was a special day for sure. I pray the hand of God protects our troops wherever they are.

I couldn't agree more Scoob! I hope the Sodium Pentathol works and the WOMD are discovered so we can rub it in the faces of those who voiced opposition to the cause. Once we have obtained what we need turn him over to those he hurt the most for his just place in history. Maybe by Christmas Osama will meet a similar fate. God Bless America!!! ED

I would get Saddam on TV, Worldwide and show him being executed for the whole world to see. Show him in an agonizing death, maybe dismemberment with knife, or chainsaw. Hey I would pay $100 to do it myself. Or maybe a power drill right threw the head. Or eaten by lions. Hmmm, the list could get real gruesome. Prez Bush said that Justice will be given to the American people and to the Iraq people. Now we need to get that other one Osama Ben Laden. Hopefully soon.

Now why would they take him alive?? Only a matter of months or years now till some terrorists get assembled and set up an act to get him released. It's good he's out of circulation, but now i think we will have round two. They could have sent in a team to kill him back in the gulf war. Ended lots of problems, maybe would have even saved the trade centers. He can't ever be executed now, too much international politics. I will never understand it.

Peace on Earth, goodwill to men. Isn't the capture a great Christmas present. As the US soldier said when they captured Saddam "greatings from President Bush"

Why is it that those that don't participate are always the first to criticize the way something is done and the results.

I just hope president Bush sticks with his statement about those that didn't help us don't get the contracts to rebuild Iraq.

Yes, it is a beautiful day.

Mark, Capturing him alive is very important. It sends a huge message to the other terrorists - we will get you! We will run you into the ground! We will hunt you unitl you give up. As the German NAzi's went through trials after WWII, Sadam will go through the same thing. He "will" be found guilty and will be punished. His life is over and so be it. Sadam is a Christmas presnt to the American / British people. Keep tuned for the Osama chapter of this story. Yes I'm sure there will be more terrorism, but as long as some governments have the back bone to stand up to these jerks - the message they should be understanding is "Mess with the Bull and expect the HORN".

"Oh what a beautiful morning" indeed. The capture of Saddam alive is enormous in the continued fight against terrorism. There are many questions to be asked of him. Whether he chooses to answer is another thing, but we all know that a dead Saddam can't answer anything. Others who would commit suiside in his behalf will now know that he would not in the end sacrifice his life. A powerful message there. The overall war on terrorism is by no means over, in fact, I believe we are still in the beginning stages, but we (Americans and other allies) are resolve to keep up the pressure. Yes, it is a great morning. The sun is shining, a dusting of snow, the coffee is hot and delicious, and the family is well. There can be peace, but sometimes the only way to achieve it is to fight for it.

From what I have heard they feel that it was very important to get him alive. Showing his image on TV as submisive and a beaten man. Sends a very powerful message to the people that are using him as an example of defience of American power.
Here is the great Sadam looking like abeaten man getting his beard checked for Lice.
Also who might know more about where the weapons of mass destruction are?
Maybe a few shots of the truth juice we might learn alot.

What a way to start a morning - Up drining a cup of Coffee - looking over the fresh snow toward my Barn, thinking it was really a beautiful morning. Then to hear we got him. It makes this coffee taste so much better.
