I'd like to get some suggestions for junkyards that I might go to in the Mid-west and plains states.

Look up ATIS on the web and it will give you all kinds of "recycling" yards separated state by state.

Jon: The salvage yard I work for is exclusively Farmall/Ih ONLY! We carry parts from 1949 H-M's up into magnum parts(I rebuild quite a few Magnum pto's converting them to dual speed). They also carry quite a few IH crawler parts. I won't give their name but the number is 1/800/248/2955, and they are on the web.

I just added one and corrected an address for one that moved. Both in Cal.

I would prefer to call them salvage yards, as I prefer not to put junk on my tractors, some actually sell new and reconditioned parts. Two places in Kansas are Steel Wheel Ranch and Abilene Machine. Someone will probably give a link to a rather long list, or you can do a search.

My favorite is on Hwy 2 about 20 miles southeast of Lincoln, Nebraska.
