I am wondering how much difference there is between the NT and WT on f-20's and regulars. Is one more rare or more valuable then another?

Just guessing, the rear axel is approximately 6 to 8 inches shorter on each side of the narrow tread. Someone will probably post the exact measurement differance. In my area, I hardly ever see a narrow tread in mid-west. That makes me believe the narrows were more rare. I seen a narrow tread F-20 sell for parts. It brought like $350. I think the guy just bought it for the rear end, so he could make another wide tread tractor that he already had into a narrow tread by simply changing the rear ends out. Makes me wonder how many narrow tread rear ends have been retreived from iron piles to convert a wide tread. Seems like the rear end hardly ever gets damaged on a tractor that sits and rots away.

There are no hard counts on the numbers manufactured since all production numbers include both NT and WT. However, there are considerably fewer NT than WT since they were for specific applications.
