Phillip, I get my manuals at tractor shows because I like to look through them first and decide what is most helpful. Manual dealers who do tractor shows often have new and used. The best manual for your H (in my experience) is the "Blue Ribbon Service Training Course for Farmall H and 4 series Tractors and power Units" There are the I-T series manuals as well and these can be very helpful. The owners manual simplifies the basics of the tractor. All three manuals are around $20 each and each is helpfull in its respective area. I have a manual dealer about 12 miles from me who carries complete lines of manuals for all tractors and machinery. If you can't find a manual locally ping me and I'll give you his number... as for seals I get all mine for my H's at my local Case-I-H dealer, all seals are available, NAPA or Carquest can also find you seals and bearings...Mike in Exeter Ontario

The best manuals are from Binder Books, second best is from Case-IH, 3rd best is best left unsaid, all cost about the same. Your Case-IH dealer has almost all gaskets and seals, and most other parts. Seals can probably be found cheaper at a place that specializes in bearings and seals, etc. The seals, no matter where you buy them, are generally made by either Chicago Rawhide or National -- the Case-IH seals will have one of these two names on them. There are many general parts places. One is OEM Tractor Parts. Steel Wheel Ranch has some new and many used parts.

I was going to tell you to just go to the left of this page and click on manuals, but I just looked and I can't find anything for a Farmall H. Maybe I just don't know where to look? Your other option is to check out the auction site of YT, the manual you are looking for will eventually pop up on there, or go to BINDERBOOKS.
If you have plenty of time on your hands, those manuals are just about always on ebay.
As far as the new seals you need, your Case-IH dealer is always the first place you should look, even for a 1946 H.
