Mike , My friend just purchased the black chest and rollaway from them they had on sale. To use as a second rollaway for his tools . Tell you the truth for the money it wasn't bad. I own a Kennedy and craftsman set and I paid twice and then some the price. We just recently got a store nearby here in Buffalo NY. I purchase alot of tools from them for occasional use or ones I'm going to modify . Cant beat the price. I have a 3/4 drive socket set from them to work on the tractor / I've really wrenched on it and haven't broken a socket yet.

Mike, Like anything else, they have some decent stuff and they have some junk. When I was rebuilding the frontend on my Super A I needed a big socket to remove and eventually reinstall the big nut on bottom of the steering box. The farmer down the road let me borrow his 3/4" drive socket set that he bought from harbor frieght. I thiught it was a pretty good set for the money. Just my 2cents.

I am sure the tool chest is fine. They have many retail stores now, maybe one close to you. Check it out before you buy. The store locations are listed on their web site. AS for buying from them, I have been pretty happy with everything except their screwdrivers. -Greg

I suspect that every thing at Harbor Freight is from Asia.
I have purchased many many tools from them. Good for us hobby hackers. Wouldnt want to try to earn a living with the stuff. For me its the fact that I am 100 times more likely to lose a tool long before I would ever break one. I need to buy at a good price.
Some day 1,000 years from now. Archeologiest will think there was a ancient tool factory on my home site. Evedenced by all the tools they find in their digs. Spread out over a vast area.

I overheard my father repond to the question, "You're a farmer, I suppose you have good tools?" with "Nope, I'm a farmer I plant tools!" So I guess that's were I get my tool habits. Dick Davis

boy i agree with you. Lifetime replacement does no good when you can't find the tool. For me same thing with pocket knives

There used to be a small hardware store next to the welding shop where I worked.(25 years ago)Whenever we needed a wrench that we couldn't find,we would just run next door and buy one.The old boy at the hardware store knew what was going on and always reminded us to buy the cheap ones,"Germination is the same on the ones from China" he would tell us.John
