I think your dad is right. But, I still have one on all of my tractors. I just think they look cool. I have never had any dirt in any of them and I work my tractors. When a Super C precleaner sells on eBay for almost $200 and the whole tractor goes for $900. There is a real problem. Why are we so stupid about buying these high dollar parts?

It goes where the mushroom thing goes on, I think the advantake is when the air comes in it goes through the jar and and it cleans out big pieces of dirt and leaves and stuff.

Here is one - that price you see is what a rusty one will go for. The ball jar on it isn't original (square is the right one). If you want to keep it original, expect to pay at least another $20 for the jar.

If you haven't already, place a WTB ad in the YT classified ads. Will Sick or LaVerne Meyer might reply with one. Both are good to deal with.

Don't give up so easy. Check again later today, and everyday till you find what you want. Also, what category are you looking in? If you haven't already, go to the business and industrial section, under that click on farm, under that, click on vintage tractors and equipment. You also will want to look under tractors and tractor parts. Those pre-cleaners are there, but not everyday. Be patient.
