Here's a pic of my BN. Haven't worked on it much. She's sitting in the corner of the barn waiting for better weather. I did get new brakes put on, and a new front engine seal put in. Carb is rebuilt in the basement, as well as the ignition system has been overhauled. Generator has new brushes and a new regulator. I cleaned up the guage box or whatever that's called, and the light/charging system switch. So as soon as the weather breaks, I'll be ready to resume. All that cardboard is to keep the red overspray from turning my barn pink.

Take Care
Steve

Steve,
Nice looking BN, what year is it? You are MUCH further along than I am, see the link below. What is the condition of you sheet metal? Do you have any attachments for it?

I apologize to anyone that is getting tired of my posting this link, but I'm just having to much FUN with this project (I update the page everytime I make progress on it, keep checking back).

Have fun!
Greg

The sheet metal is pretty good, except for the whole in the front grill....see pic.

I'm not sure how I am gonna fix that. Luckily, the motor is in good shape. While I don't know much about the history, my guess was that it was rebuilt, repainted (like with a brush), and then got little use. Eventually one of my neighbors bought it, and let it sit for 10 years in a barn, occasionally starting it. Here it is right after I got it:

He offered it to me for $400 bucks, I'll probably have less than 900 into it when it is like new, based on my parts and to do lists. She'll be a wagon hauler I guess. I needed this tractor like a hole in the head.

Where are you located. That land sure dosn't look like anything around here (Upstate NY). And as for your BN, that is one serious undertaking. I redid a AC B about 15 years ago that was in that bad of shape..... I know what you are facing. Hang in there, it's very rewarding. Here is one I saw at Empire farm days for inspiration:

If you find a spare grill on a donor machine, I'd be willing to buy it. I also will be looking for front wheel weights, and a manifold.

By the way.....keep the pics coming.....I'll try to do the same.

Take Care
Steve

Steve,
I'm in Northern California, I'm sure that's why it doesn't look familiar. I found a posting this morning that might help us out with the sheet metal and other parts we need. Go to:>Link
I>Link have emailed Jay and am waiting for his response, just maybe we can get parts before these tractors disappear.
Thanks for posting the pictures, I enjoy seeing everyone's project and progress. I sure have learned a lot about farmalls on this forum.

Greg, you have a bit more work involved than Steve's. Keep us posted on the progress. I own a 1944 model which has been posted a while back on this site. Like the love seats on the show "B" Steve.
