Pete, I don't know about the avaialability of the brake shafts, but if they are like an H they come out with the bull pinion assembly. Don't be tempted to pull the assembly without moving the bull gears. If you do you will break the flange that holds the inner bearing.I just went through this on my regular H. Aces and rebuilder gave me a good tip, remove the PTO and you can then remove the cap screw and large washer that hold the axle to the bull gear. Then take the wheel off, then the axle cap that has four 3/8 bolts. You should be able to slide the axle out and free the bull gear. Pull the bull gear to the rear and swing the rear of it toward the center of the rear end. This will give you enough clearance to pull your bull pinion assembly from the side of the case. I did both sides of mine. On one side the axle did not cooperate, so I removed it with the entire axle housing. Its not to bad of a job, it sounds worse than it is. Just be careful and be sure your bull gear is pulled back and not catching your inner bearing flange as you pull the bull pinion assembly, and you really need to have two people to slide the axle back into the bull gear. Again, I'm not the sharpest guy working on a Farmall, but I got this tip here and it worked great. You can read the tips the guys gave me a couple of days ago under END PLAY and END PLAY FOUND. What I described is for a regular H, but I believe it would be the same for a Super.
