Anyone know of any particular problems with the Farmall 450LPG models? One has become available nearby and Im thinking of buying it. Tractor doesnt run, was told it needs a head gasket.

YES!Alot of problems,tranny is weak,engine is bad about getting stuck,burn alot of oil,propane draws the flies..... ..... ....Where did you ay you were from and where is this tractor?:)Good ole workhorse of a tractor.

Don't those "Pullers" drool over LP engine heads?

Sounds like a nice tractor-assuming it is all there.

Besides you can fill up the tractor and in addition to the hydraulic accessories you can run you can now run a bar-b-
que too!

Plowing and hot dogs...MMMMM hot dogs.

That tank ain't ugly! If you are into LP its a beautiful sight and it smells great too. JD's are for cooking hotdogs on, grills are green you know.

From what I know about them they are pretty good I got one in the late summer but haven't put it to work yet. They have around 54HP

The gas burners will geet about 11 ft. to the gallon on a hard pull(chisel plow). Should be a good solid tractor for you.
