Frank: Welcome aboard YT discussion forums. If you go down the page a bit you will see that Paul in MI suggested I shouldn't tell you my opinion, thus forcing you to come here for advice. I went to bed early last evening, had every intention of doing as I told Paul, if you didn't respond. I even got up at 4 am here so as to get you out of bed 5 am AST. You turned the tables on me, phoned me a 1/2 hour after I went to bed. If you recall, my daughter Marilyn has a photo of you and I looking at YT some years back, right after I got involved. Everyone in the family agrees that the photo reminds them of two kids opening presents under the tree on Christmas morning. On the tractor problem I think the consences is your problem could be pilot bushing, clutch disk or presure plate. I don't think it is release bearing as it would be noisy whenever you depress clutch whether in gear or out. Unless it is as simple as fingers on presure plate out of adjustment you will have to split the tractor to find out for sure. As I said last evening there is a couple of good threads on page 3 and 4 by Dave in CT, on adjusting the fingers. As I said earlier welcome aboard, don't be afraid to ask questions on here. These guys on here are loaded with information and experiences. I will tell you there is not a more helpful group anywhere. They even start to worry about someone who hasen't been on for a few days.
