Steven, it took me a while to realize that"42 Farmall H" and you were one and the same. I hadn't noticed your posts as often for that reason. Are you through school now..Teacher's training? I know we all get busy and busier and don't get to stay on YT as much, I get here on weekends and snowdays...have had about 6 in the last two weeks. What are you working on now? and wedding plans? Was really busy with farming and college there for a while. Then finally got things caught up - now again I think it may be few and far between when I can post. I am student teaching this semester, starting Monday and going through April 30th. Then I have some independent study to finish before May 15 so I can graduate this year. Will be really busy.

Getting married on June 5 (6-5-4 should be easy to remember, the countdown to bliss!) Most of the wedding plans are in place and the $$ taken care of for that. Hoping to make a little money on the side to pay for the honeymoon.

As you can see below, looking at restoring a neighbor's Farmall A for a project while student teaching. Hopefully I will have enough spare time to get it done before next fall!

Thanks for the interest in my life!

Steven, I don't know if I ever told you, I retired after 31 years of teaching, now I am farming the family farm and working as a mechanic, at 56 I still don't get retirement...more a career change. I was following you over the years and knew you were going into education. My son Ryan is at Queen's University in Kingston Ontario completeing his teacher's training this year as well, so naturally there is a connection. he too should be finished by early spring. Best of luck to you for graduation and marriage. I have relatives in ND near Fargo( Castleton)sp? I was through ND a few years ago but have been there before..anyway take care for now.....Mike in Exeter Ontario

Steven: Thanks for the update. I only figured out about 4 weeks ago who 42FarmallH is. I thought you had disappeared. All the best to you and your better half. Being married to a school teacher myself, I know a bit about the chalanges you are facing. Good Luck.

I think teaching is one of God's most noble professions.

I theorize that in the future, computers will be one hundred times as large, twice as fast and so expensive that only the five richest kings of Europe will be able to afford them.

I don't know what lies ahead, no one does. All we can do is our best to prepare children for everything and anything...

Just remember, as a teacher, your primary objective is to: STOMP OUT IGNERANCE!!!!!
