LOL - yep! HyTran is a good fluid. They wouldn't sell it otherwise. It's just not anything real unique. The only put IH oil in an IH, only JD oil in a JD cracks me up. Most people would never dream of changing oil in their tractor and putting in 2 quarts of Chevron, and 3 quarts of Mobil, and topping it off with a couple of quarts of Case/IH. However, equipment manufacturers do it all the time. I don't know Case/IH specifics, but John Deere bids out their oil. A couple of years ago, if you were to buy their 50+ 15w40, and say you needed a 30 gal barrel, a couple of 5 gal cans, and maybe a case of quarts - you had oil from 3 different manufacturers. Sure, it all meets their specs but the difference is this: Additive packages for oil vary depending on the base stock they are working with. Some base stocks need more of this to do that, etc. Each oil independently are fine - the potential for problems lie when you start mixing them. While it is EXTREMELY rare for any problems at all, a person really never knows how the additives from one oil may react with the additives from another.
