I was in Shelbina ,Mo. the other day and the local implement dealer has a pedal powered tractor that I think is a C farmall. They built a frame with 8 bicycle seats and 8 sets of pedals all slaved to a main shaft connected to the trans input shaft. As soon as this snow we have here in north Mo. clears up,I'll go back and get a picture of it and post it for you guy's to see.

It'd be ok to play with as long as I did'nt have to pedal it. A parade toy.

I saw this pedal tractor in farm show magazine. It is a Farmall C.It also said that he was working on building a pedal crawler. Like to see that!

Would that be rated at 8 horse power or 8 Horse's @ss's power. It'd probably depend on who was doing the pedaling.

Professional bicycle racers like Lance Armstrong and Greg LeMond can produce 400 watts continuous power, and one horsepower is somewhere around 750 watts. Amateurs like me produce between 150 and 300 watts depending on how serious we are training.

Figure on about 150-200 watts per rider on that beast and you get about two horsepower. :(
