The F-14 does not have the oil holes in the top of the valve cover like the F-20 and F-30. It also doesn't have felts in it like the 20 and 30. They are oiled from the pump so you don't have to do anything to them. It is good that people are taking notice that you have to hand oil the rockers on the F-20 and F-30. A lot of people that have them didn't seem to know they had to oil them often. This is a good place to learn.

Just wanted to make note that the F-12/14's do have a felt pad part #24548D but they do not have the manual oiler cups like the F-20/30's.

Great previous answer. Also before you start it up, be sure to give a few squirts with your oil can into the valve cover receptacles, atleast on my F-20 they are sticking out the top of the valve cover.

The oil comes up through the block and head to the stud holding down the center rocker shaft post. The stud should have a small hole drilled in the bottom end and then another cross hole about in the middle. The oil then goes up the post into the hollow rocker shaft and comes out holes in the top of the rocker arms and soaks the felt pad.The rocker shaft should have a cork in each end held in with a cotter pin to keep the oil from running out the ends.
