Anyone have any suggestions before i take the head off. It misses at #1 cylinder. I have cleaned the injectors, checked the valves and the gas compression valves everything looks good with the valve cover off. thank you

My WD-9 did same thing it had cracked head between the valves.

I do not know the details of these engines, never owned one, but have you considered the possibility of a leaking manifold gasket?
It is just a thought, it would be a shame to pull the head and find no problems.

Rusty � A leaking manifold can only cause a miss when the engine is in gas mode. Once it�s switched over to diesel the motor will run fine with a leaking manifold. (In fact it would continue to run even if you were remove the manifold!)

Gordon � Regarding the miss, when the engine is fully warmed up on diesel is the exhaust clear or does it puff white?

If it�s clear it means the missing cylinder is not getting fuel. Try bleeding out the #1 injector. If that doesn�t do it try swapping the #1 injector with one of the other three (be sure to bleed them both out after swapping). If #1 is still not firing problem�s gotta be with injection pump. However if the problem follows the old #1 injector to it�s new cylinder location, you�ve got a bad injector.

If white is showing in the exhaust, it means the misfiring cylinder is getting fuel but doesn�t have the compression necessary to fire it. Carefully check/reset the clearance on all (3) valves on #1. If it still doesn�t fire you�ve either a valve problem or bad rings.
