the cylinders that control the bucket tilt started leaking the other day. i am assuming they are seals in the end and not packings. i noticed that the nuts from side to side had different gaps so i tightened the one side about a 1/4 of a turn and the other side just spun, didn't tighten or loosen. i'm guessing that's not good. how hard of a job is it to replace the seals? am i gonna need a new cylinder?

thnaks for any help!

Casey: Are the rams on your cylinders clean with no marks or gouges in them? If clean from that point of view, it should be an easy fix. You have replacable seals on the end around the ram and another set on the pistons inside at end of rams. Any hydraulic shop can fix you up, they can even repair minor damage on the rams. But do fix marks on the rams as they will damage new seals.
