Hydraulic valve confusion

I just put a Saganaw 3PT on my M and am trying to figure out what valve to buy. I have a live pump. I am not experienced in what makes 3 pt equipment work well or badly. I hate to wish I new better after I start using it.
I have been clearing by pulling trees & brush out by the roots. I have a VERY HEAVY middlebuster I will tear up remaining roots with (these Honey Locust trees connect with runners & will sprout from roots-ground is sandy). My schreader is a heavy pull type. Future equipment: post hole digger, box blade, cultivaters for large garden, not crops. I'm going to get a 2 spool, (one for what ever I'm not thinking about yet) should one have float? The hitch will float if you pull out 2 pins. If they do not say the relief is adjustable can it be? Are parallel circuits of any benifit to a 3pt or is that just useful with a loader? How important is load check with a 3 pt?
Sorry for the long post-any advice would be appreciated

Not sure I can answer all your questions but will give my opinion on a few. I also have a 3 pt on my smta that is not saginaw but very similar, has the same 2 cylinder lift and you can have down pressure or not by removing 2 pins. I just purchased a 2 spool valve because I wanted to use a 3 point roll over plow so I needed both 3 point and remote outlet. The one I got was a Prince, I did not get the float option as I didn't think I would need it. I like the load checks. Without them when you move the valve handle the load drops slightly. Some valves state they do not have adjustable relief. I would get one with it otherwise you could mess up your pump. Those old IH pumps weren't ment to go to 2000 or 3000 pounds. The valve I got has Power beyond available as a option, don't think I need it but was on the valve.
