I have a Farmall 300 and the wires to the light switch has been disconnected and I need a diagram that shows how to wire it. I can put another type of switch on it and wire it but I would like to keep it original.

Try this link - it is to Robert Melville's wiring diagrams for just about any application on these older farmalls.

The wiring diagram in my service manual was basically useless, and dealers couldn't help. But with Bob's diagrams, I completely rewired my M in a very short time.

Thanks again Bob!

The operator's manual for the tractor should show the wiring diagram, at least it did for the letter series.

Might better go to your nearest Tractor Supply and get an I&T manual for it. Will tell you everything you need to know for about $30. Can't beat a manual for these machines - I just spent $115 on manuals for my old Oliver backhoe and am very glad I did. There's adjustments on that sucker you would never be able to figure out without them. Best money you'll ever spend is on a grease gun, oil, filters and manuals. Good luck!

I got one but it doesn't show the wiring diagram on the light switch, in fact I have one for a Super C ,a 350 and a 400 and none show how to wire the switch.
