I have a 75 Cub with a 60" belly mower. Are there any pull behind rotory type mowers that can be raised and lowered via the hydralics. Mowing 3+ achers is painful.

Don't know of any mowers that can be raised, maybe someone else does.

If your Cub handles the 60" mower (depends on tractor condition and grass being mowed) and your pain is in the time to mow, I would suggest an independently powered offset mower designed to be pulled by a lawn and garden tractor.

I don't think a Cub is up to driving a mower much wider than 60" in one pass with acceptable results.

My wife's solution was for me to move our fence in and let the cows take care of the extra duties. BTW they fertilize as they mow and most tractors don't have that attachment. It's kind of like the ultimate mulching attachment.

Woods made a 42 inch mower that had 1 point hitch and powered by the PTO.We used ours several years before getting a belly mower,(easer for the wife to mow with). Our 1 point looked just like a bush hog.The only thing it would mess up the PTO shaft once in a while. We sold our's for 800.00 11 years ago,it wasthe only piece of equiment we ever sold that brought as much used as we paid for it.Hope this helps. Billy.

hey, small world!

I have a 42" woods mower just like you mentioned and it certainly does mess up the pto shaft! I changed out cross bearings on both ends of mower shaft in past year! Went back to using belly mower and had no problems.
