I need to change the spark plugs in my 1951 H and wondered if there is a better plug out there that you fella's would suggest to use rather than the Champion D10's that are in it now...any suggestions would be appreciated...--Jeff

Jeff: Got to be careful here, don't want to get the spark plug wars going. My Farmalls all have D-16 Champions. That or any comparable plug is what came new in them. Many of the guys on here say go hotter for cold weather. While we are not in the extreem north, we are north of most of these guys. My tractors always start in cold weather, and when I think about time, those plugs have probably been in there longer than they should be. Come to think of it, I can't remember buying plugs in the past 7 or 8 years.

d10? that's cold as ice! I'd say at least D15 or AC c86

We use D21 all the time, no problems at all. If you are working it hard, all day long, use D18 Champions.

We used D21 Champions. Let the deisel do the hard work so had no problems overworking the gas tractors.
