Hi All,I just recently bought what was sold as a Farmall H tractor. It looked like it had been painted with a brush and had some homemade H decals on the sides of the hood. The ID tag had lots of paint over it when I bought it. It runs and drives good. After I got it home I started cleaning off the ID plate and the number looks like SH 6xx J. Just 3 numbers in the serial number. Is this possible? Can't make out the last 2 yet. The plate does not look like it has been changed. Now the strange part. It does not have live hydraulic, has a belly pump. Has Dist. Ign. not mag. Stranger yet, It has drum brakes not disc. My IH dealer said that if it was a Super it had to have disc unless someone changed them because the disc were suppose to have lots of trouble. Did they come with drum or could they be changed? Also, 5th gear is fast. Seems to be closer to 20 MPH the 15 like an older H I had years ago. What do I have? H or Super H, Or? Thanks in advance
