Not a problem! In fact, here is what I did. Basicly, you can unbolt a 460, from the rear engine plate, forward, and bolt it into a H rear end. all the frame rails, and engine plate are the same bell housing bolt pattern as the H. all the factory engine mounts from the 460 fit the combine engines, (front) it is a bolt in task!! OK, here is what you have to do for the clutch,, use the 460 flywheel, 460 pressure plate, and a Super H 10.5 clutch disk. The H and Super H, have the same spline on the input shaft, just a larger diameter clutch. and is available in a 3,4 or 6 pad button clutch. OK now the hard part, the starter ring. the 300-350-460 had the same starter ring, and was used for the new style starters, on the H, you have the old style starter, you have to remove the 460 starter ring, machine the flywheel down in the lathe, to fit the H starter ring to the 460 flywheel. it sounds more difficult than it actually is, it took me about 1/2 hr to cut it and fit it. after that, you can use the original starter from the H. You need to use the H pilot bearing in the flywheel, it goes right in! I have a spare 460 flywheel set up for an H starter ring if you want it, All IH parts is used in this conversion! Other than the machine work on the starter ring, it is a direct bolt in as far as the bellhousing, frame rails, front end, etc etc. I could save you all the hassle too, you can buy mine! Anyways, hope this helps, email me if you like at hpuller2001@yahoo.com thanks, Chad
