Not quite sure of the question. Are you asking: "Can one spool valve block do both Tel-A-Depth and Hydra-Touch duty?" Don't know for sure. (That was a lot of help wasn't it?) Offhand, I would say no. The Tel-A-Depth valve has no neutral center like the Hydra-Touch valves do. The Tel-A-Depth valve spool get its signal to stop after selecting a hitch height from the feedback linkage be it the older cable style or the newer rod/lever arm style. I fail to see how this arrangement would work for remote applications. I would say that you need to find a boneyard and get a Hydra-Touch spool. I can't tell you exactly how to bolt this up as our 460 has a Tel-A-Depth and two Hydra-Touches. Without looking, (I can't right now) I'm speculating there is a cover cap on the right side of your Tel-A-Depth spool body. Unbolt this and gang your newly acqired Hydra-Touch valve(s) onto the right side of the Tel-A-Depth. Hopefully you can find a 'partser' tractor that is complete with respect to the Hydra-Touch stuff you need. Don't forget to get the control lever quadrant! Our 460 has remotes on the tractor's rear controlled by the middle lever, and a pair of remotes on each side of the tractor controlled by the inboard lever. The outboard lever is the Tel-A-Depth.
