All models that IH made

The major variations of any one model can be staggering. I have found atleast 7 major variations of the 1206 and most people can only account for 2 or 3.

I'd like to see someone try to make a list of the various tractor models IH built, not only the USA ones, but those made in Germany, Australia, England and France to name a few of the "foriegn" counties IH had factories in. Anyone care to try this??

What is the seventh variation of the 1206? I come up with six. #1 Farmall 1206, #2 Farmall 1206 FWA, #3 International 1206, #4 International 1206 FWA, #5 International 21206, and #6 International 21206 FWA. If you consider with and without TA these six would be twelve but I don't remember the seven or fourteen.

The differences in most of these are the early white model emblem decal vs later built gold emblem plate model. IH did make physical and mechanical differences between the two that are very apparrent.

The industrials (21206) have had several model emblem changes too.

The book is hard cover and 415 pages of probably 75% photos. There are very few of the tractors missed in photos, probably less than 1% out of about three to four hundred models.

You say up to 800, do you think you were close to all with that? I expect volume of sales on tractor books would have a limiting effect, compared with some other subjects.
