help

I CHANGED THE FUEL FILTER AND NOW I CAN'T GET TO PRIME ALSO IT DOESNT HAVE A PRIMING LEVER ON IT

PLEASE HELP

I apply a vacuum to the fuel return line while cranking. Have a bucket nearby so that you can catch the fuel when it starts. A siphon type sandblasting gun works well. Don't do this in a closed space.

Poul, on top of the fuel filter cannister is a nut which you can open, then you use the hand primer until fuel overflows out of it. You believe there is no primer, there is, I have one on mine but it is seized..so you can still prime the system by pouring clean fuel into the opening on top of the cannister until it is full to running over, then replace the nut. Next there is a vent screw on the pump to the right of the injector lines, remove this plug and prime or pour fuel in until it is full up, then put the plug back in. Finally loosen the four nozzle unions , kick the starter over briefly and this will let out any air between the pump and the nozzles, tighten the unions up and start up, hopefully you will have the air out. I have been lucky and only had to fill the fuel cannister at the top and that was enough to make the tractor run fine..... ..good luck from Mike in Exter Ontario

i tried all those things, i took the lines off the top of the pump and nothing from #1 and just little burps from 2,3,4 i have spent 2 days on it now getting frustrated

Hi, Isn't there a prime pump on the injector pump.
It looks like an upside down L with a rubber boot over it located on the rear of the injector pump. It has been 40 years since I worked on neighbors B250, but if I remember correctly you turn the lever 1/4 turn and then pumped up & down.

Does your injector pump have anything like an upside down L ?

Hi, the other way to prime the injector pump is to
pressurize the fuel tank, open the bleed screws until fuel flows without air bubbles. Then loosen an injector line and start cranking the engine with the starter. BECAREFUL with the fuel from the injector lines because it is under very high pressure and can cause INJURY.

I will not describe how I pressurize a fuel tank as it is not totally safe.
