I am putting a belt pulley on my F20. Before I take the side plate off, I assume I will need to drain some of the transmission oil. How much oil should I drain out? Are there any potential pitfalls I should be aware of when re-installing the pulley?

I'd go ahead and drain it all out. If it looks clean and good you can put it back in.

i don't know why, but this thread just cracked me up. it's like something out of an Abbott and Costello skit with Jeff playing the straight man and poor Art only having a 1-gallon bucket.
