Hi Guys,

This morning at 5:30am, this extremely tired old tractor got a new seat and jounce mounts. Today, I'll put in the new belly pumps.

Hope that by evening, I can at least hook up a mower so that she will be "functional" and somewhat "useful" once again.

Bit by bit & step by step. This hobby is really rewarding; but oh, what a long way yet to go!

Allan

GM Allan, Nice seat, looks comfortable! Is that the new tractor you just got? You know what they say. Saddle time is the best!

Scotty,

Just between you and I, I've been taken for quite a ride on this project the way it is. LOL!!

I've got the new tires with fluid on, new clutches and the T/A replaced so far.

When it wouldn't lift a rotary mower, I got mad and parked it out in the corner of the yard for a couple of days. After I cooled down, I took the bit in my teeth and vowed to give her new life again.

What's a little money between a silly old man and his tractor, anyway? :>)

Thanks for the reply,

Allan

Allen: Is this the tractor you were speaking of in our correspondance last week. Tractor appears to be in pretty good order. When you get the little items cured your going to love that tractor.

Hi Hugh,

Yes, this is the one. The old fella is starting to grow on me, but I've really had a hard time understanding how someone could let a tractor go to ruin like this.

Thanks for the hollar,

Allan
