Bought a 1950 C used at an auction after I got back from Korea. Did a lot of cultivating with that C and front-mount 2-row. Also had a mechanical loader for it. My Dad said that manure bucket held about 3 forkfuls.

They were good tractors. I traded it off for a new H. I'm in the process of restoring a 1954 Super M now.

I completed restoration of my dad's 1952 Super C last year. Of all the Farmall letter series tractors, I think the C is the most fun to operate.

We have a C. Great little tractor, starts everytime. Got it running after 15+ years of sitting. Plug wiresm Cap, Starter repair, rebuilt carb and a new battery was all it needed. We use it to pull trailers, but It gets used to put in a 1 acre garden, plows and sweet corn. Does a great job. Only other problem was a radiator repair this year.

Yeah. Sounds good. I really am looking forward to riding it.

I got it for FFA, and I got 3 years to complete it and enter it in the restoration Contest. If I complete it in 3 years, I get to keep it. If I dont complete it, I lose everything Iput into it, and it goes back to the school.

So ive got approx. 1100 days to do it, I think Im fine!

It was in Shambles when Igot it. Completely eated away by rust. Everything is pitted! Tires flat, engine free, but not firing thanks to rat eaten wires.

Ive got it torn down now, and just waiting for parts...or more money for parts..

I believe they would be considered Farmall's smallest row crop tractor. The C was not real powerful. Many are on bellymowers now. A very dependable tractor if in good repair. Also, a tractor that if properly taken care of will last forever. I am reworking my C right now and hope to have it back together by the end of the summer. I have a belly mower plus use it on an auger. As any John Deere or Farmall the "C" is found in most anyones collection.

My GrandFather had a 48C on his farm up in Michigan, he bought it new, and along with his Cub, and Oliver, farmed a large chunk of land. The C ran the equipment, and pulled the loads, the Cub mowed, and the oliver did heavier work.

I cant wait to get the C running!

I have a 1954 Super C that my dad purchased MANY years ago from a nearby city. It was only used to plow their parking lot! I have used it ever since to do our driveway. Am trying to sell it now to purchase a walk behind blower. Probably not too smart, but it takes me longer to plow a path from our storage shed to the the house than it does to do our driveway.

Great little rig!! Just feel it should be used more than a few times during the winter to do snow.

Good luck,
John
