Hello, looking to find out the rotation of the blades on a woods belly mower on a 184 international. any help would be appreciated. (clockwise/counterclockwise)

Yes, Woods makes mowers both left and right rotation. It depends on the application. If the model number is still on the mower, and there is a "L" in front of the model number, it is a left hand mower and thus is counter clockwise rotation. That means the blade bolts are left hand thread. If there is no letter preceding the model number, then it is normal clockwise rotation and has right hand thread blade bolts. You can't change rotation without changing the spindles because the blade bolts will come loose and the blades will come off. I got confused once and got the belt on my L 59 mower incorrectly, reversing the blade rotation. Of course I noticed immediately because it did not mow with the blades going backwards and one of the blades came off in short order.

Spencer: I think it depends on which mower you have. Example the model 59 turns clockwise and the L-59 turns counter clockwise. I doubt if they can be changed as the blades would never stay tight.

My Woods belly mower blades turn clockwise.
