Help me identify this tractor

I just acquired an old Farmall tractor. The decal says Super C on it but the serial number is FC 28079 and it doesn't seem to match up with the serial number guide that I have for super C's. Is it a regular C? Also, it has no power take off shaft on it, just a plate bolted over where the shaft would come out. Is there any way of telling if this is any kind of rare tractor or just another C? Thanks for any replies!

FC 28079 is a 1949 Farmall C. A straight C, not a Super. Like Randy in NE stated, Super C's have 6 digit serial numbers.

The C's are going to have a 5 digit serial number while the Super C will have a 6 digit serial number. The C has bank brakes where the Super C has disk brakes. The brake pedals on the C are fairly straight while the Super C has a more pronounced curve to them. The gas tank on the C sits right down on top of the hydraulic unit while the Super C has about 1-2" space below the gas tank. I think that the Super C will have a water pump but this could have been added to a straight C. Just a couple of the differences.

Didn't a Super C have a bigger motor than a C? Didn't a C have a C113, and a Super C had a C123?Isn't that the reason for the taller radiator, grill, and the higher spacings everywhere else?
Thanks

Yeah that is almost true, but when you are trying to tell the two models apart the extra 1/8 inch cylinder bore isn't that helpful.

Super C had a temp gauge for the Hydraulics, I think?
