I have a 39 M, and I have the original steeel wheels that came on it. I have no plans to ever use them, and I thought if there is a a market for them, I might sell them. They are rusty, but solid, and I have no idea what they are worth. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As mentioned already, your internet pricing is going to be cheap due to the cost of shipping. Buyers are going to subtract value of shipping when paying for heavy items such as wheel's. I would try to get atleast $500 for the entire set on a local market. I paid $700 for a parts H with a full set of steel wheel's about 10 years ago. That was probably a little high but I under-estimated how bad of shape the tractor was in.

Brian, I am in Western, Pa. and I wish I had them here. They would bring around $500 here.
We have a lot of Amish farmers up here and that is what I have sold them for. These guys are even making steel wheels out of regular wheel hubs. For some reason the M steel wheels are scarce. There are plenty of H wheels around , but not the M wheels.

Your best bet, since you live in NC is to take them to Denton (if you don't sell them). They have a big auction at the end of the show and it's chock full of old tractor folks and restored old equipment. However, there will be a fee for anyone selling anything (for taking advantage of the publicity that the show generates and all), and I don't know how much they charge. Check out the link for more info.

They usally bring from about $35.00 To $100.00 on Ebay. The hard thing is they are to heavy to ship cheap. Put them in your local paper for a hundred a piece see what happens.
