Im getting my engine back together, and am wondering about the spacer that goes between the fan belt pully and the crankshaft gear. I may have put it in backwards. Just wondering how critical it is on wich way it goes. I havent gone to far with assembly yet so any help would be appeciated. The spacer sits behind the front cover and slides on the crank. Thanks Shawn

I believe the tapered side goes to the front. I have a motor that i could take the cover off and look maybe later this afternoon.
