It should have two petcocks on the left side of the pan. The upper one is the full mark. The lower one the low mark. It is a good idea to verify that it isn't over full, like if hydraulic oil is leaking in there. Then as long as it runs out of the bottom petcock you are ok.

Only If it's like my Super A:
There's a plug on the left side. Crack it open, and if oil flows out, you're good. If it doesn't, add some 'til it does.

Pa. Pete,

My Super A has the two petcocks on the left side of the oil pan.

I've read it some where on these pages (?) that the Super A likes to run with a little less oil. I fill mine until the oil drips out of the bottom petcock, not the top.

If anyone thinks this is wrong, please reply.

If you have a tractor that uses some oil, you are starting out a quart low -- not a good idea.

If you put 5qts in it will be full and come out the top. Why would you want to run with less oil.
