I may be looking at it wrong but it looks like two different tractors to me!

I noticed several things changed as well, no light bar/ light bar with sealed beams and light bar with tear drop lights, TA handle/no TA handle, live hydraulics/no live, PTO handle/no PTO handle, wiring box controls differ, PTO decal/no decal, gas throttle handle/diesel throttle handle. I'm sorry but I don't know who would fall for this one. And also there were 2,705 of these made according to Guy Fay's book instead of under 2,500

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM OF MY PHOTOGRAPHY CAPABILITY.
THE PICTURES IN THE BARN WERE TAKEN BY A FRIEND AS TRACTOR WAS STORED IN CANADA.
I TOOK THE PHOTOS OF IT ON THE TRAILER, WITH 2 OTHER "M" TRACTORS.
THERE IS NO ATTEMPT TO DECEIVE ANYONE HERE.
AS MENTIONED IN THE EBAY LISTING, THE TRACTOR IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION AND TEST DRIVE IN RANDOLPH, VT. I HAVE MADE EVERY ATTEMPT IN THE LISTING TO ENCOURAGE POTENTIAL BUYERS TO VISIT AND CALL.
THE TRACTOR HAS A SERIAL NUMBVER WHICH I HAVE LISTED, AND WHICH IS ATTACHED TO THE TRACTOR.
I HOPE THIS CLEARS UP ANY CONFUSION.
THANK YOU
CURTIS

Problem is it is called a SMDTA, there are many features that indicate it is some sort of a hybrid: lights are the old style teardrop and the rod going to the hydraulics, including the bracket it is mounted in is from an MD, apparently the tractor has a belly pump, the Stage 2 Super M/MTA had live hydraulics. I live in Kansas, VT is a little too far to go to look at a misreprented tractor. If the tractor is not yours, you should contact the owner, clear it up, and give more detailed info as to exactly what the thing is. In this case the serial number really does not mean anything, you need to look at casting numbers on the various parts to see what has been changed.

How come there is not one picture of the entire tractor?

The ad has pictures of THREE different tractors:
1. One with the "diesel" decal on the tank. 2. One without a seat. You can clearly see the seatless tractor in the same picture as one with the "diesel" decal.
3. One WITH a seat but no "diesel" decal on the tank.

Normally, I'm the last person to point fingers at posting styles, but yours might provide some insight as to why the pictures don't jive. If you go through life as sloppily as you post, it's no wonder you got the pictures mixed up.

well, you can clearly see there are two tractors. Whoever took the pictures doesn't know how. There are photographs of two differnt tractors and all together three because there are two on the trailer and one doesn't have a seat then there are two differnt tractors one the supposed smdta and the other has a brighter red seat. this guy just got picture happy i guess.

Ya and the ones in the shed look a lot brighter that the ones on the trailer, like maybe a paint job or something, I don't know, but the inside shots sure look redder. Harley
