I am wondering which tractor is able to do more work. What is the comparison between these two tractors. Any of you guys owned both?

Go with the 560d. I sounds better and looks better.

We had a 3020LP and it was gutless. A 3010 or 3020 diesel is probably another story.

A 560 would definitely out work a 3010, however the 3010 was a more "modern" tractor and IHC lost ground. We sold the 460 against the 3010. We actually sold the 560 against the 4010 rather than the 3010 as 560 was largest IHC row crop tractor available. The 560 could be turned up to produce equal power to the 4010 but it was a lighter tractor in design and rear end and no factory three point hitch. IHC ground to JD during 560 vs 4010 era. IHC gained some back during 806 vs 4020 era but never really got advantage rolling again.

i've had a 3010 diesel since 1977. new engine in 1980, then 8000 hrs later, new engine in 2001. its been a very good tractor, VERY much more nimble than the 560s i have. if the choice was just between the two, i'd take the 3010 in a minute. 560 is clumsy with the wide front, 3010 runs cheap.

JOHN I know two brothers that had both a 560D and a 4010D they always use the 560D and it was a dirty thing but the 4010D was always in the shed all clean and waxed. The 560D should run all over the 3010D if both just factore.

deeres might be comfort [queens] but the red ones are the power [kings]. i've got a 460 that will and has stomped many of mudholes in 4010,4020 tail feathers. what alone 3010s or 20s.

A good Farmall M or Super M would walk all over 3010's!

Back in the 50's I grew upon a Farmall "M". Since then I have part ownership in a another "M", "Super M" and a SMTA. What I am trying to say is I have red blood in my vains. However, back in the mid to late 60's, I spent a lot of time on my Father-in-laws gas 3010, which I can say out preformed any of the "M" I have experience with.

Don't think so. I have many hours on a 3020, and while I don't remember the hp difference between the 3010 and 3020, there really is no comparison to an M. Different era. Unfortuantely, IH lost ground when the 10 and 20 series appeared, and never made it up. 560 didn't help any.

560 will burry a 3010 and give a 4010 all it wants with a turbo, a good running SM with firecraters will out work a JD 3010, a 3020 might stand a chance.

A stock Super M or 560 will not keep up with a 3010 or 3020. Now If your talking modifing a Super M or 560 and comparing them to a stock 3010 or 20 then maybe so. I've plowed a lot of ground with a 3020 Diesel and know way will a stock 560 keep up. If it were modified to keep up it would not last very long. And I am strictly an IH man.

i hate to burst your bubble, but you knowledge of cranking red ones must be limited.
we have a 560 with a Redwood Falls turbo on it since it was new, dynos 115hp and has been that way for as long as i can remember.
i have no idea how many hours are on it as the tach quit working at 11558,i remember this number as it only had to hold in there for 2 hours to put 560 on the tach.
also had a stock 560 back in the day which would not keep up with a 4010,but a 3010 was another story.
