My dad has a 460 he wants to sell and I want to give him an idea of what it is worth. Row crop, narrow front, standard drawbar, dual hydrolics, tires 80%, sheet metal good, always shedded, engine rebuilt a few years ago, gas engine, located south west Wisconsin. He has had this tractor for about 35 years and I put in a lot of hours on it. I am tempted to buy it myself but I have to many tractors already and I have no use for a big row crop tractor. Thanks for the help.

It doesn't make any differance whether you have a use for it or not, it has been in the family for 35 years and it needs to stay in the family. Once you have it home, you will be surprised at all the uses you will come up with.

I like the way you think but my wife and pocketbook tell me different. My dad also has a H that he has had since time began. Thats the family tactor that I really want. Besides I never really liked the 460 gas that much. Compared to the 656 and 856 disel it was really a dog.

I hear you, do your best to keep that H in the family, I was going through some tough times when my parents sold out and had to stand and watch the H that dad bought new get loaded on a truck and disappear forever.
